Jewel-like colours, from lime, to carmine, to scarlet, to the blackest blue; it had to be painted!
This watercolour painting was exhibited in Autumn 2019 at the 16th International Exhibition of Botanical Art & Illustration at The Hunt Institute of Botanical Documentation, Pittsburgh, USA.
It's now in their collection.
