I am originally from South Africa but am now based in West Wales. As long as I can remember I've been obsessed with nature,plants and drawing; its my life.
I've studied botany,horticulture and field biology and am a self-taught watercolour & pastel artist.
Working in watercolour from 'live' subjects , detail and accuracy are important features of my work. My style is best for botanical art but I like to paint landscapes aswell.

I was awarded a distinction in the Society of Botanical Artists' Diploma in 2007.
In 2010 I was very proud to be elected to full membership of the SBA.
